About

Roy Davies, founder of Roy Davies Consulting, has been involved directly and indirectly in residential construction and property development over the past two decades.
While managing a luxury hospitality property, he oversaw multiple renovations and expansion projects alongside the day-to-day operation of a functioning hotel, experience that required careful coordination, communication and practical problem-solving across consultants, contractors and operational teams.
Since 2021, Roy has focused more directly on residential building projects within the region, coordinating and supervising new builds, including his own home in Betty's Bay. Working extensively across Betty's Bay, Pringle Bay and Kleinmond has given him a strong understanding of the realities of building in the area, from waterlogged sites and coastal wind exposure to homes designed to be more resilient to baboon activity.
Today, Roy Davies Consulting provides independent owner representation, residential build coordination and local oversight for homeowners looking for practical support throughout the building process.
